Headed back!
Ok, so we're going back.
Or, so we hope. In the middle of the visa-nightmare... If they give Dan green light to go back to the UK, we'll be on our way early next year.
Back to London! Back home...
So now, I suppose, this is gonna be our vacation here in Cape Town! Nice trip... No money to do funny things with, and stress about sorting out the new visa! We have to come back here soon and do a proper tourist-trip.
So back to the Best place in the world then! London. I mis you I miss you I miss you!! Already I'm making plans in my head; where are we going to stay, what to eat, what to do!
I'm so excited!

Bored in Cape Town
Does everybody experience this when they move to a new city? The feeling of utter boredom and lonelyness? We have, like, 1 friend so far and nothing to do. I got a job but only start working in December.
We don't want to spend all our money so we hardly ever do anything that costs money, but last Sunday we did go to the Aquarium on the waterfront. It was probably too expensive for what it was, but it was pretty cool to see some cool fishes and sharks I suppose.
And again we burned in the sun... How strong is the sun over here?! 10 minutes and your skin is red red.

Cape Town
We're finally here!! On the other side if the world for me. But it's pretty cool so far even though I haven't seen half of the city yet. We've only been in once to the centre of town so far, to the V&A Waterfront to have lunch, then we went on further south through Clifton and all it's pretty beaches along the mountains.
We live about 30 minutes north of the city, in Blouberg, very nice. We only move in to our place on the 1st of December, but it's only 5 minutes away from the guy we're staying with at the moment. It's a a stonethrow from the beach so we go down every day for a dip in the cold Atlantic water. Today I lost control in hte strong currant and the waves! Funny.. And the view we've got from our beach is the picture above!
Oh, and the car trip down here was so cool. It was mostly dessert, but it was cool. We saw little grey monkeys running across the road, and we stayed in a B&B for one night in the middle of nowhere. When it got dark the temperature drops so much, but during the days it's always over 30! Almost too hot for me..
